Are some games  Doppelganger? Can a nice placid game, one that you'd play with your grandmother, have a nasty evil twin that invites fights? Depending on the (lack of) strength of your (mathematical) glasses, it is possible but we show that with good glasses, games with simple rules are not Doppelganger.
